The challenge that drives our purpose
Children and persons with disabilities often face heightened risks of abuse, neglect, exploitation, and exclusion. Gender-based violence remains a pervasive challenge, disproportionately affecting vulnerable groups and undermining their rights, safety, and development.
Despite increasing awareness, gaps persist in prevention, response mechanisms, and access to essential services. Many communities lack the resources, knowledge, and systems necessary to adequately protect and support those most at risk.
Aegis Haven Foundation was established to serve as a protective shield ("Aegis") and a place of safety ("Haven") for children - a response to these challenges to serve as both a protective force and a source of opportunity. The organization seeks to bridge systemic gaps through integrated, inclusive, and sustainable interventions that prioritize protection, empowerment, and social inclusion.
